Note: Every patient’s experience is unique. These survival rates tell you how other patients with a similar disease and treatment have done as a group. You may respond differently to a transplant than someone else. Talk with your doctor about how this data applies to you.

Where do you get the data?

The data come from the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program’s Stem Cell Therapeutic Outcomes Database. It collects transplant data from hospitals all across the U.S. The Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR^®) manages the database.

When and where did transplants occur?

Transplants occurred at transplant centers in the United States from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018. These are the current data to provide 3-year survival rates. The analysis to create this report is done every three years; it was last updated in 2022 and will be updated in 2025.
